Everyone told us to go over and I have to say we were disappointed. The ferry ride over is nice but the actual attractions except for the fort at the top really aren't worth it. The walk up the hill to the fort is pretty steep so not great for small kids or people with mobility issues. I would recommend kayaking over and enjoying the island from the water or doing something else.

Lokrum island was the best part of Dubrovnik for us.
Lokrum island was the best part of Dubrovnik for us. You have to walk through the old town to get to the small harbour where boats run regularly to Lokrum which is relatively close by. (From memory maps are given out with tickets.) There are a number of places to eat and drink on the island. We headed over the island to the right n found fabulous rock slabs with sea rock pools where people swam in the sea or sunbathed. We headed for the Dead Sea initially we think n thetr is a great beach bar there.

It is unspoiled, still the condition of the paths could be improved, also more and better direction signs and better information of the history are needed. "Game of Thrones" was fun to see, but it should not be THE most important site.

The village has an incredible views over the sea, with the old town of Dubrovnik & Lokrum island right there.
The apartment is very clean & spacious with lots of facilities for those who want to self cater.
The old town is a short 15 min walk away & steps leading down to the beach are directly outside the property.
Jospeh couldn’t have been more friendly & helpful. He made us feel totally welcome & nothing too much trouble.
Thank you!
Wonderful apartment with amazing views to sea, lokrum island and the walls of the old town. The apartment is modern and bright, the pictures don’t do it justice. Everything you needed in the apartment, lots of little extra’s provided such as toiletries etc. Shutters on the bedroom windows to keep the room dark and cool. Also a large balcony to enjoy the views and sunsets, it gets the sun most the afternoon. And the host was very helpful. We would love to stay here again!
The view at this apartment is amazing! We were greeted by the wonderful host upon arrival and felt welcomed. Chocolates and a fruit bowl were a lovely touch and appreciated. The apartment was clean, tidy and the space was as expected. We walked into old town once (35-40 min walk) but there is a bus service available by the hour for $2.5 euro a ticket that you can pay on the bus (card or cash). Also, highly recommend visiting Lokrum Island to get away from the rush of people in the old town.
Host was fantastic and so easy to contact for any little thing. The location was superior to other places we looked at. A short walk from the Old Town with excellent restaurants, bakery and a shop nearby too. The views were incredible as we could see the Old Town and Lokrum Island. And some nights there were football matches on the 5 a-side pitch next to the apartment. I loved every second of it and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Beautiful traditional apartment with character
Great views of Lokrum Island and the old town
Fabulous terrace with loungers, outside dining area and vine pergola
The host Ivana was really helpful and quick to respond, helping with ferry tickets, taxis and late check out
Apartment has the most beautiful views, the apartment looks a lot nicer and cleaner in real life. The terrace is perfect for eating breakfast from one of the local bakeries. The host is really helpful and gives you a lot of recommendations.
A couple of my own recommendations are the small beach cove to the left of st Jacob’s beach, vive Mexican restaurant for tacos, lacroma restaurant on Lokrum island for the best prawns, buza bar at sunset.
The Apartment was very clean and well equipped. Good communication with the host. The location is not in the main street which is great because it's not crowded and loud. The balcony has a great view of Lokrum island. Overall a 10/10 experience.
We liked sitting on the balcony looking over the waters to lokrum island and also the old town. Nicely furnished flat, very comfortable to lounge in, excellent kitchen amenities, clean and well-kept apartment!
Me and my family had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Roberto and Seka are fantastic hosts, they filled the fridge with drinks and snacks for us arriving and made us feel so welcome and at home. The apartment has everything you need and more. The views from the balcony are stunting with arguably the best view of the old town and Lokrum island. The terrace is another bonus where you can relax in the shade and have BBQ or fire at night.
Excellent location with spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea, Lokrum Island, The Dubrovnik Old Town. The apartment is in excellent condition, spacious and well equipped. The Host was very welcoming, attending to all our requirements and an excellent Host.🙏🙏
Excellent value for money 👍🏻

Old town (all of it!) - best at both ends of day when tourist groups not around. Fransiscan Monastery cloisters if you love sunlight on stone. Town walls for views. Check out Dubrovnik pass for reduced entrance fees and bus. Lokrum Island - 10 mins by boat to leafy peace (not to mention decent restaurant amongst the trees). Excursion to Elafite Islands for enjoyable messing about in boats - and a (rare in these parts) sandy beach.

It is super clean and felt very safe for toddlers to run around. In the evening people some with their creativity, like mimes and exotic birds. There is also a boat taking you to a Lokrum Island which is great to wander and swim with the kids.
