This was an amazing place to stay.
We had a superior room on the eighth floor and had a beautiful room with a small terrace and fantastic views of the Adriatic Sea.
We opted for the breakfast and dinner package, and did not regret it at all. The food was delicious and top-notch. The menus were varied day by day and typically there were various choices available from a set menu. Likewise, breakfast was comprehensive and included fresh fruit, fresh pastries, an a la carte menu, with numerous options and everything was delicious.
The barista made very good coffees
Our room was very comfortable and well lit
The shower was great
The old town can be accessed either by a 20 minute walk or else by a short bus ride. We did both.
The staff were very pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble.
A nice touch was that we had to leave at 3 am on the last day and the hotel gave us two breakfast boxes which included sandwiches, fresh fruit, yoghurt and toppings, and a bottle of still water.

Walls of Dubrovnik
A city-defining experience. These walls were erected in the 13th century to fortify the city against invasion. Today, as then, they reveal stunning views of the Adriatic sea and the Old Port. Budget extra time on the hour-long loop to admire the Old Port views. Fun fact: “Game of Thrones” fans may recognise this site as the fictional Kings Landing.

Great views of the sea, mountains and interior of old city, but beware walking in the heat of day. It's exposed to full sun with little shade. We are in our 70s and fit, but the steep steps were challenging. Enjoy a gelato afterward!

Go early as possible.
Go early as possible. We stayed over night in town as it just happened to be our first night in Croatia. Got on the walls 1st thing, I think we even got to the start 20 mins before opening, small queue. Seemed to get busy quite quickly. BEautiful views though so worth a visit.

The wall walk if fully exposed, go early to avoid crowds and the heat. There are bars/places to stop for drinks/food and shopping on the wall. Beautiful views. After the walk to one of the Buza bars for drinks and a swim (you will see them on your wall walk).
We LOVED our stay here! The beds were comfy, the location was fantastic, and we had a terrace overlooking the walls of Dubrovnik. But the best part of our trip was the wonderful treatment from our hosts. Marilyn was amazing to deal with and Livio not only picked us up from the airport but took us on two full-day tours that were incredible! We learned and experienced much more than we would have on our own. Thanks, Livio and Marilyn!
Location is great, right near one of the gates to the Walls of Dubrovnik plus restaurants and shops. Great views. Comfortable and spacious room. Host was nice, friendly and helpful and showed us to our room.
This room was utter perfection: clean, comfortable and centrally located. We were situated less than a five minutes walk away from the walls of Dubrovnik. All of the staff were incredibly helpful, from the owner to the cleaners. There were supermarkets, bus stops and a taxi zone across the road.
