Try to and visit early in the morning by starting to walk from 8- am to reach the Acropoli before 9 am .
It gets very busy during the morning as day trip buses come from all over the Island to Lindos !!!!! Maybe 20 coaches park at Krana area to walk into the village and up to Acropoli.

Stay in lindos and visit as early as you can.
Stay in lindos and visit as early as you can. We were the first ones in and had the acropolis for ourselves. You can get caught in long queues if you leave it for during the day. It is very hot and it’s not an easy climb but it’s extraordinary so do it early so you appreciate how amazing lindos acropolis is.

It's an absolute rip-off.
It's an absolute rip-off. Also, very inaccessible, you have to climb over rocks, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, very unsafe for children or elderly people. No useful information available about the history of the place (maybe if you are an archaeologist the signs will makes sense to you...).

Residenza Maria Lindos was perfectly located in Lindos old town but slightly out of the busiest area with a short 10/15 min walk to the beach. The house was beautiful and very well equipped. Maria had left us a very generous 'welcome' basket and fridge with all immediate necessities and some nice extras like home made jam, local honey and olives. A restored traditional village house it's setting below the Lindos acropolis was perfect.
The apartment has an excellent location in Lindos, 2 minute walk from the parking lot and very close to saint pauls bay.Our host Kostas was very accommodating and helpful. The apartment is basically brand new with a very beautiful interior design, it was super clean and everything as far as the amenities go was on point. And if that wasn’t enough the apartment offers a jacuzzi with the best views of Lindos acropolis!! We highly recommend this place and would definitely book it again !!!

We loved everything about this property. It’s spacious, tastefully decorated and has everything a holiday maker could need. Two lovely bedrooms with en-suite, kitchen, courtyard living area, upstairs balcony with sunbeds, tables and chairs and lounge overlooking Lindos beach. Look up and you see Lindos Acropolis. We were met by the lovely host Jenny and her family. The fridge had a bottle of wine, milk, juice and a beautiful bowl of fruit. I would love to be there right now!
Krana apartments are managed by Marina, Jenny & their mum. They do an absolutely amazing job of ensuring all theirs guests have a great stay. Food is tasty, swimming pool is clean & very inviting, it’s quiet and there is an awesome view of Lindos Acropolis & the ocean from the pool/café area. Highly recommended
Excellent location with a breathtaking view to Lindos Acropolis. Close to all the amenities, beaches and town centre. Studio’s apartments very comfortable, clean and lovely owner who has facilitated a lovely stay. Certainly we will be coming back.
