Lindos is a beautiful large Greek village with white-washed houses, terraces, flowers everywhere and lots of shops, restaurants and bars.
We loved the Acropolis but you need to be there at 8 in the morning when it opens and before the crowds arrive at around 9. The views from there are incredible.
The village itself gets really busy between 10am and 3pm which is a good time to escape to the beach.
There are several small supermarkets dotted around the village. Our favourite was ABC. All the supermarkets are open till late - around 11pm, which is very useful if you arrive late. They sell fresh milk, bread, vegetables, alcohol etc as well as Greek specialities. Quite pricey but if you have a car, there are several larger supermarkets within 20 minutes of Lindos on the way to Rhodes. Much more choice and cheaper.
The weather was fantastic almost every day. Warm enough to swim. Fantastic for October!

Excellent location.
Excellent location. Beautiful views and a very relaxing stay. Lindos is very impressive and remains pretty much how I remember it 30 years ago. The boat trip around at Paul’s, Navarone bay and Lindos showed how stunning the beaches are in that area. Some great places to eat around Lindos and surrounding beaches.

Lindos for us is a real tourist town, uncomfortably busy with an overcrowded beach. Access in and out is a nightmare and we were there in mid September! The rest of Rhodes is more authentic. For a real Greek experience, the Peloponnesus offers a wonderful alternative .

What a captivating place , we went for the October half term weather was fantastic . Lindos had lovely restaurants and cocktail bars . It had started to quiet down but service was still great everywhere we went . If you haven’t been to Lindos go and see for yourself you will not regret it . The whole experience left you feeling happy and feeling that you must return . Check out the turquoise blue water and the stunning views from all the roof top restaurants. What a great place to go . October was definitely quieter but that suited us . A must place to visit

Great holiday.
Excellent location overlooking the town of Lindos and world famous acropolis. Nice to be outside of the main village as plenty of parking available for guests. Small development which made it very easy to find way around the apart hotel. George was very welcoming and always quick to respond to requests on whatsapp. The top floor refurbished rooms are light and comfortable and offer the best views of Lindos and the sea so worth paying a little extra for a much better view.
Fantastic location, two minutes from Lindos Square and five minutes to beach.
Apartment was comfortable and quiet. Hosts are amazing, can't do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble, they will even arrange your airport transfers for you, using their own taxi service, which is second to none, luxury vehicles at a good price.
The heart of the town is two minutes away, but the apartments were so quiet, with a lovely courtyard to sit out in, enjoying the sea view.
We had an amazing one week stay at Lindos Blu. Service is truly five star, nothing is too much to ask. Rooms are very comfortable, with wonderful sea views. Infinity pool and private beach super relaxing - and unlike many other hotels, no need to rush for a sunbed. Breakfast is a wide variety and we also enjoyed a lovely meal at Five Senses.
Nice and relaxed family run hotel with great staff, beautifully kept gardens and pool area. Good food served until 7pm with the bar open till late.
Location was perfect just on the outskirts of lindos town about 10 mins walk and 5 mins from the bus station.
Would stay here again.
