Lovely place close to the Cheddar Gorge and Caves. Made feel very welcome by staff (Kate) nothing was a problem. The room was lovely if a little warm but it was hot weather. Lovely old building with a historic feel about it. The food was very good and I thought breakfast was great. The full English was excellent and the following morning I had the best eggs Florentine I have ever had with soft and runny eggs and a lovely hollandaise sauce. Top marks!

Fabulously decorated really wonderful warm vibe, happy customers and staff. Attention to detail was commendable, from pillow spray, to the flower, sun umbrellas, fleece on the back of chairs. We left feeling revived and refreshed ready to take on the world again! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Lovely clean hotel, right next to wookey hole caves. Free parking if you stay at hotel and if you let them know you are going to wookey hole caves you get 10% off entrance price
I loved the location of the hotel, a rural setting but close enough to Wells City Centre.
The staff were friendly, polite and helpful.
I loved the breakfast, good value for money lots of choices and very tasty.
The hotel is very clean but a bit dated, but good value for money.
Great location for wookey hole caves. We went to Wookey hole for the day, initially when paying for tickets I thought it was a bit over priced, but once inside had a fantastic day. Would suggest taking a picnic, as lots to do one inside.
Staff exceptionally cheerful and helpful; Good extensive parking at this time of the year; very attractive location as long as you are not put off by all the Wookey Hole caves razzmatazz right next to the hotel. no problem with noise - just the visuals. Also you need to be prepared to drive along narrow roads for access
A lovely little hotel perfect for families and ideally located for a visit to Wookey Hole caves and the surrounding Somerset area. Good food and a pleasant vibe. Plenty of free parking available.
Room was comfortable and warm.
Breakfast not included but we booked it extra, very good food.
Dinner was good value.
Very friendly staff and dressing hotel and staff for Halloween was fantastic!
Excellent position to Wookey hole caves etc.....all walkable. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was great to find that the hotel is literally at Wookey hole caves and we had a great holiday. The room was a good size for 4 of us and had space for our stuff and tea-making facilities. The games room in the back conservatory was handy.
Friendly owners, comfortable clean room and bathroom which was spacious enough for the 3 of us. Morning breakfast was excellent with good choice and lovely service. Would highly recommend, only a short drive from Wells and Glastonbury with Wookey Hole caves close by. Our 7 year old adored the Guinea pigs. Adequate parking available and a pub opposite.
If your visiting Wookey Hole Caves the entrance is less than 50 meters away.
We ate at the restaurant in the evening znd the food was very good and reasonably priced.
Good selection of breakfast which was tasty
The young lady who looked after us in the evening and also was there at breakfast was excellent
Would recommend this hotel
