Booking online through Booking.com was seamless. We emailed ahead to let the hotel know we would check in late and needed a car space which was also handled very well by the hotel. The cleaning staff were lovely, friendly, dedicated and attentive. The location is really central in Winchester and there's plenty of safe off-road parking for customers.

The staff were genuinely lovely, helpful and professional - whether in Reception, the bar area or the Spa - all clearly seemed to enjoy working there and their hospitality and warmth shine through.
Lauren and the team in the spa were also exceptional. I was able to rearrange my treatment and add an extra in without feeling like I was causing any inconvenience. I had an amazing deep tissue massage with Olena and a wonderful facial with Kinga - both therapists were first class but also created a peaceful and relaxing experience. Thank you!

Enjoyed a really nice overnight stay at The Plough, on route home from visiting Stourhead and Winchester Christmas Market.
The Room was lovely with very comfy bed and great shower. Booked an Evening meal which was delicious. Breakfast was also excellent. Staff were very pleasant and friendly especially the Lady who booked us in and the young man who looked after us at dinner.
Will definitely return and highly recommend the little gem.
Location was amazing, the property was extremely warm, cosy and convenient. It had everything we could have possibly needed, and the hosts were super accommodating and easy to contact. South House was very clean and beautifully presented. Perfect for 6 adults exploring the Winchester Christmas Markets!
