We loved the friendliness of all the staff. Enjoyed a drink in the lovely snug bar and had a wonderful evening meal in the restaurant, breakfast the following morning was also pleasant.

The property is right in the heart of Monmouth. It’s a lively place with excellent, helpful staff! The room was large and decorated nicely. Lovely large shower in the room. Breakfast was lovely and even the small breakfast was large.

Small and bijou, but comfortable and cosy and has everything you need (apart from a colander!) The owner Fiona was very welcoming, and the location (near to the Skirrid, White Castle, Offa's Dyke path etc) is terrific. Great if you want to get away from it all.
