Unfortunately the room we had booked (COURTYARD DOUBLE) was changed to double room in main hotel which I had not booked because of many stairs and my husbands difficulty in walking. I had originally contacted hotel directly and was told there were no rooms available on my dates so I then went to BOOKING.COM were I booked COURTYARD ROOM successfully.
But luckily TRACY on reception saw the error and quickly altered our rooms the next day. We could not have managed to stay with rooms up stairs if she had not done this. So a BIG THANK YOU to Tracy for saving our stay. She was excellent
She saved our holiday

Breakfast was very typical. Needed to re-stock a few things and cereal selection could have been more extensive.
Evening dinner was excellent - very nice.
Staff went above and beyond as we needed an extension cord and there was not one on site so organised to get one for us and then took to room and set up.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, the food and drink fantastic, we were a larger group with two dogs for a 50th birthday celebration. We were well accommodated in the lounge room, which we had use of throughout the day and evening. Geat outside space and nice rooms too. Breakfast was great. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Large and comfortable twin room after a day's walking of Offa's Dyke. It's 4 miles from the trail but the owners will pick you up and drop you off the next day.
The room had an excellent bath which was very welcome after 8 hours of walking.
Excellent breakfast to kick off the day.

It had very lovely staff and clean a clean, quiet, en-suite room. I was staying to be closer to work in the south and were it not for the unfortunate parts of my stay, it would have been great because the location is perfect.
