We had a great stay -- the hotel is rather unique in that it's actually several townhouses that are connected and then redone as rooms. Our room was delightfully decorated fitting of the boutique hotel status, with a huge bathroom and large, comfortable bed. The hotel staff were communicative and helpful, both before our stay, messaging over booking.com, at reception, and while there. We were celebrating a special occasion, and had a nice surprise welcoming us in the room, which we appreciated. We also ordered room service from the restaurant (always a nice treat at hotels that offer it) and this hit the spot -- there was good variety, the food was high quality, and the ambiance and experience quickly made us feel at home.
Lastly, it was our first time in Glasgow and as travelers without a car, we weren't quite sure where to stay. This spot worked out quite well -- the area is nice, and the university area (around Byres road), with more shops and cafes and such, is just a 10 minute walk, or a shorter bus ride. The bus stop is also right outside and very convenient, and that or the train provide quick transit access through the city. Overall, this worked out very well for us -- we had comfortable accommodations, tasty food, and great service. Would recommend to others.

I was very impressed by this hotel. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
Everywhere I looked was spotlessly clean.
Excellent hospitality and facilities, and I was especially impressed by their offering of simple food choices after hours. We arrived after midnight a little hungry and were pleased to find that they had a selection of sandwich packets, pot noodles, crisps, and other similar food that could be purchased beside the front desk and taken up to the room.
The bed was wonderfully comfortable, with great pillows.
Excellent plug access, with the exception that some are too low to the surface beneath them, meaning that many plugs with a cord wired to the base of the plug won't fit, but their sockets also have USB ports which helps in many cases, and there are other sockets in the room which don't have this block so it's only a minor inconvenience.
Shower, toilet and sink facilities were excellent.
