The room was spacious and the breakfast was superb. Pilgrims Hotel is an excellent location for Canterbury West station and the city centre. We were visiting to go to a show at the Marlowe Theatre which is directly opposite the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
Very pleasant clean room with nice on-suite. Easy check-in via the emailed door and room key code. Excellent location for the Marlowe theatre and rail station. Early breakfast requested at 7am with no problems. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order and so nice to actually get a proper tea pot rather than those leaky stainless steel monstrosities. Overall excellent value.
They weren't serving cooked breakfast during my week, but the choice of things was good. There was some building works going on.
Room comfortable and quiet, which was surprising as it was next to the theatre.
Great location for getting around the area and I travelled to Deal, Ramsgate Whitstable using either trains of buses - all very easy.
So much to see in Canterbury and remember to check out what's on at the Marlowe theatre - I saw Sister Act, which wasn't planned!
