The staff were amazingly friendly
The whole island had a power cut so instead of a regular breakfast the head chef BBQd some eggs bacon and sausages, amazing ingenuity by all involved

Didn't do the tour but queued in the rain for 20 minutes for...
Didn't do the tour but queued in the rain for 20 minutes for the shop which was very poor compared to others like Glenfiddich etc. No samples (presumably using the Covid excuse) and no exhibition or information that you find in other distilleries. The prices are extortionate as they are in all distilleries but I might have been tempted by a distillery reserve if I could have tried it first.

This was going to be one of the highlights of our trip and we managed to get there 20 mins before closing but was told by a very rude member of staff that we weren’t allowed in because it was to near to closing. Very disappointing.
