Set in a converted cluster of fisherman’s houses along Portree Harbour the hotel offers plenty of character and quirks. There are 17 en-suite bedrooms with all expected facilities.

Portree is a lovely town with lots to do. We attended the hogmanay event in the community centre, where there seems to be lots of activities to attend. The square has some nice pubs, restaurants and shops and the horseshoe harbour with its colourful buildings was very pretty.

It is a really quaint town and easy to walk around.
It is a really quaint town and easy to walk around. A variety of places to eat although some difficult to get into, and needed bookings. Went to Dunvegan Castle which was very interesting and on a boat trip to view from the sea and hopefully see some wildlife which we also really enjoyed. The local inhabitants are really friendly and seem to enjoy tourists. Public transport east to navigate, on time and clean

Absolutely stunning! The whole island is just magnificent.
Absolutely stunning! The whole island is just magnificent. The town of Portree is beautiful and full of lovely people, cute stores with local products and tasty food in its many restaurants. Definitely recommend making a reservation if you want to eat at a specific restaurant. The bus drivers are the nicest people. Stunning view all around the town. Can recommend Don's taxi service - a very reliable gentleman. Also have to recommend Real Scottish Journeys and their tour of the Isle of Skye, we had the best day! Be careful, cell service can be difficult and google maps unreliable in places. Best to ask a local if you're unsure about anything, they were so kind.
We also went on a boat trip which was a little disappointing. The views were stunning, of course, but it was very focused on watching sea eagles. We spent most of the 2 hours waiting for them to fly around and catch a fish they threw in the sea for them and didn't go very far away from Portree.
Be careful on the streets and considerate and you'll have a wonderful time.

We used Portree as our base for 2 days of photography tours of Skye. Portree had more to explore than we had time for in our plans. It was simple for us to get around on foot. We would welcome an opportunity to visit Portree again.

Our week stay was greatly enhanced by the team who work at the hotel , friendly , helpful and happy to spend time sharing their knowledge of the area.
Hotel location is perfect for exploring the Island and only 10 minute's walk into Portree. Plenty of parking available at the hotel with easy vehicle access .
Well stocked continental breakfast buffet, staff attentive.Ordered breakfast was of good size and hot.
Reception always happy to help and we managed to get parked in the small hotel car park which was a huge relief with Portree being so busy.
