if you saw the film The Dig, you will enjoy a visit to the site. Especially the house that shows footage of the original dig. The museum has some great artifacts that displays the importance of the site.

Comfortable room, modern shower/bathroom, spotlessly clean throughout. Plenty of room for parking. Convenient for Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo. Breakfast was very good. We walked into Woodbridge to eat in the evening. The hotel is surprisingly quiet as it’s set back from the main road.
Carla went out of the way to make the stay a pleasant one for me - help with leaving luggage while at event was particularly appreciated, also in making breakfast so I could take train to get at Sutton Hoo at start of day, Sunday. That sort of detail helps to make a stay a pleasant / successful experience.
Clean and tidy accommodation. Easy access to places of interest in the area (e.g. Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings etc).
Easy parking at hotel and in Woodbridge
we loved the hotel - the historic Bull Inn - it’s location in Woodbridge and it’s historic building linked to the discovery of the Treasures at Sutton Hoo.
the hotel is ideally located to tour the surrounding countryside and to visit the site of Sutton Hoo. the hotel was excellent and the food was very very good.
The rooms were very comfortable and had everything that you would need for a stay. the staff were welcoming , friendly and helpful.
Loved: breakfast, grounds, our beautiful suite Dairy Cottage, dinner, brilliant staff who are posting the laptop charger I left behind. Thank you! The hotel is well placed for excellent day trips: we loved Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge river, Southwold, Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, Dedham Vale and Flatford Mill.
