The Tara Lodge is very much a small boutique hotel, situated within a 10 minute drive to downtown Belfast. Checking in was easy and we appreciated the dinner recommendations we received. Our rooms were comfortable and close to one another, which helped as we were traveling with an older relative.
Breakfast was plentiful, with a number of options to choose from. The cooked portion was very tasty and well prepared.

The staff was excellent. I don’t know there names but the 2 girls at the desk and the girl who took care of our room were absolutely fantastic. So energetic and helpful. And William at the bar was so engaging and so knowledgeable about the area.

We had a good stay. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast choices were very good. It was close enough to the buses we needed. We had several pleasant conversations with the staff who were very helpful in giving us directions.
