The property is in a beautiful building with lots of historical character and modern features. The art commissioned for the rooms was modern and complemented the vibe of the city. The staff was very nice and super accommodating, we arrived very late and they made sure we were able to get dinner in the restaurant on site. The food was delicious and the waiter was very funny. I loved my food, I had the salad, soup, entree and dessert. The portions were generous and the food was tasty. The dining hall is beautiful.
We were only in Belfast for a night, but was able to make the most of our day there by being in such close proximity to the main part of the city and the hop on hop off bus tour.

I have been to Belfast many times. It is a city, like many others, which rewards return visits. It's fairly compact, so not difficult to get from one place to the next. People are friendly, the literary scene is world class, and there is a wide variety of things to do and visit.
The Linen Hall Library café was closed for refurbishment, but we had lunch at Avoca and Two sisters, met friends at the Heaney Centre and at Lazy Claire's Patisserie. My travel companion had coffee at St George's Market, the museum and the Europa Hotel. We visited the museum, the Botanic Gardens, No Alibis Bookshop, St George's Market, the Heaney Centre. All good and all places we'll visit again.

Plenty to see and do for long weekend, pleasant, but bit downtrodden, still suffering from religious division which simmers under the surface. Safe to walk about and some lovely areas, but not on my must return list.
