Amazing cathedral and history around two key saints.

Amazing cathedral and history around two key saints. Enjoy some cake and a cuppa in the superb contemporary extension that houses the shop and cafe, and linger longer to catch evensong to hear the wonderful acoustics. Outside summer months there are free monthly organ recitals as part of the International Organ Festival so check if one is on when you visit! Really enjoyed the one I attended in May 2022.

If you have the time -- maybe on different days -- join two different tours run by volunteers at the cathedral. On my second tour we were taken outside to see the Queen Mother 'gargoyle' above one of the doors.
