Property was set in a quiet cul-de-sac and took us about 15-20 minutes to walk into Perth city centre (in the rain a couple of times!). The kitchen was well equipped, the bedroom had plenty of storage space with a very comfortable bed. The sofas in the living room were comfortable which was good after a day of walking. Communication with the owner was excellent. Visited Scone Palace and Falkland Palace - both worth a visit.
Room had nice closet space, was clean and we liked the sofa. The tea/coffee/cookies and water was great to have on hand. The bathroom was small, but not unusual for a guest house. Breakfast was great and we appreciated the owners help, the parking space and the location was close to Scone Palace.
We loved the old-fashioned elegance, the very comfortable bed, the wonderful breakfast buffet and the other dining options, including high tea. The location was great, very walkable, scenic (it's along the Tay), and quite close to Scone Palace and Black Watch Castle Museum. There are very nice shops and cafes just outside the back entrance, including a great whisky shop.
