Everything! Hotel is ideal for families with pool table, dark board, table football. Staff are so nice, couldn’t do more for us. The location is right next to the bay and the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was the best veggie breakfast I’ve had and my husband and kids loved the non-veggie too. Will definitely be back.

We received a very warm welcome at reception. The (former) house is beautiful with original Victorian/Arts and Crafts features . The room was huge, breakfast good. A pleasure to stay here.

Pros: Nice period property in the centre of Montrose.
Good location for attractions such as Lunan Bay, Dunnottar Castle etc.
Use of living room with microwave and plates+cutelry.
The room was clean, bathroom decent and looked like it was recently refurbished.
Bed linen and towels were soft.
It's dog friendly, that's why we chose it.
This property has a lot of potential, but nobody cares.
The beach is at the end of the street The hosts have thought of everything needed . Loved the complimentary soap candles shortbread etc . Amazing use of a small apartment. Will visit again hopefully. Short drive to Lunan bay and st Cyrus , stunning beaches .
