somewhat underwhelming. if you don't get the fast track option expect around a 30 min wait. views are surprisingly obstructed on the opposite side of the Thames - couldn't even see the gherkin! I did expect it to be far more spectacular than what it was.

What an amazing ride for seeing the whole of London and further a. Field. A great experience, it is a slow ride round in enclosed seating allowing one to take in the vast views and sights of all London and beyond. Well worth trip.

I stayed there for a weekend and it was amazing! The location is really good, the bus stop and the tube station are nearby and you can easily walk to the Big Ben and the London Eye. The beds are comfortable and they offer family dinners and walking tours.
The staff and the other guests were super friendly and I was welcomed straight away! I got the chance to get to know so many awesome personalities and I’m really grateful for that! I really loved staying there and I will definitely come back!
We arrived late as our flight was late getting into London. The staff were all to happy to help with luggage and getting us something to eat.
They were always, happy and polite. Willing to help in any way. The hotel was located across the road from Waterloo Station , bus stop out the front and in walking distance of the London eye and shops.
This is an old London pub, but at no time were we worried by patrons down stairs.
we had an upgrade after a mix up with systems booking, so we got changed to staylux waterloo, 2 bed apartment, the apartment was lovely, beds were comfortable, the balcony had great views of the London Eye and city views, full length windows gave a great view, the shower was great, and toiletries provided.
Fabulous location, overlooking the Thames and the London Eye. A short stroll to the National Theatre and the South Bank. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely room and excellent breakfast

I bought tickets in advance because in 2014 they started charging to see the London Eye fireworks. I got there around 7PM with my friends and there were so many people getting in! Took me a while to get past the place they check your tickets but after you pass that you get plenty of time and space to settle. The fireworks were beautiful. To anyone planning to spend the NYE in London: bring food, water and get a good spot as soon as you can. You're probably only going to be able to leave the area around 1AM anyway. The subways stay open until late but they also get super crowded with people heading back home.

I would recommend the combination of attractions, and to book in advance. The London Eye was an amazing experience, the London Dungeons & Madame Tussaud's. The SeaLife Aquarium was good & we were able to casually walk around in there.
