Room was very spacious with a beautiful view. It’s in a quaint and beautiful location. Food was good. Restaurant views are just as beautiful. The spa services were nice. Most of the staff is friendly, particularly the older gentleman in the restaurant who is very soft spoken, kind, and tentative.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We loved that the hotel had been updated but retained some of its 16th-century character. They have a great selection of ales on tap (including two local brews) and the bartender was friendly. The location is great - in Bala centre, and close to lovely walks in eastern & central Snowdonia.

A excellent room and service with amazing views over Lake Vyrnwy, we had room 33 Premier room with balcony, very beautiful room and even dog friendly, lovely four poster bed so comfortable, Very peaceful and relaxing area, even our Toy poodle loved the room settled in straight away. We had room service for our meals as didn't want to leave our dog on his own in the room as you cannot take dogs into the restaurant. There is a dog friendly Tavern bar were you can purchase drinks.
