Room was very spacious with a beautiful view. It’s in a quaint and beautiful location. Food was good. Restaurant views are just as beautiful. The spa services were nice. Most of the staff is friendly, particularly the older gentleman in the restaurant who is very soft spoken, kind, and tentative.

Palé Hall, hotel in Llanwddyn

On the edge of Snowdonia National Park, Palé Hall 5 red star Relais Chateaux property set in a Victorian manor house hotel with 18 elegant rooms in the main building and 4 garden suites.

A wonderful property with attentive and pleasant staff. The master suite room was spacious with a wonderful view of the gardens. All meals, which included the special taster menus, were enjoyable. Particularly impressed with the 'turn down' service so that guests can return to their rooms after dinner with weather information provided and classical music from the TV playing quietly in the background. Small but 'classy' touches.

White Lion Royal Hotel, hotel in Llanwddyn

Located in Bala and surrounded by greenery, White Lion Royal Hotel dates back to the 16th century and offers accommodations with on-site parking free of charge 9.3 mi from the heart of the Gwydyr...

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We loved that the hotel had been updated but retained some of its 16th-century character. They have a great selection of ales on tap (including two local brews) and the bartender was friendly. The location is great - in Bala centre, and close to lovely walks in eastern & central Snowdonia.

The Kings Head, hotel in Llanwddyn

Featuring a bar, water sports facilities and views of mountain, The Kings Head is located in Meifod, 17 miles from Dolforwyn Castle.

The room we had was large, clean, and had some charming historic elements (i.e., fireplace mantle and exposed beams). Half of us were in a separate "pod" at the rear of the hotel; it, too, was clean, attractive, and comfortable. It is a great value, especially when you factor in the amazing breakfast - our best breakfast of a 4-week stay in the UK & Ireland.

    It was just beautiful.

It was just beautiful. I was thoroughly pampered in the spar for my birthday. And even though I had to have the equipment explained to me it was no bother. The restaurant manager gave us a glass of champagne on the house for my birthday. Which was a real nice touch. He even comped our rose prossecco as we got engaged on our room terrace at Sun rise. I can't wait to visit again. Maybe even look at holding my wedding here

The views, he peace, nothing but birds singling, the food was delicious although portions were only fine dining size. Just love this place, far from the madding crowd at a gentle pace, a beautiful bolt hole to recharge the life batteries.

This is an isolated area with some lovely views and ideal for walkers. They even has some toilets that were open to the public that were kept in excellent order, which was pleasanly suprising considering the location. I would take some food and coffee with you as there is very little in the way of places to eat or drink. Do take a camera for the views. Don't visit if single track roads are not your thing.

    Llanwddyn is a small village.

Llanwddyn is a small village. Nice and quiet place in the middle of the mountain if you like fishing, hiking and simple stay in the beautiful nature place. Isn’t really for families with small kids. We ate in Vyrnwy Hotel where we stayed and used our car or simple walk around the area.
