Exceptional location superbly placed to discover the delights of the New Forest. The room was very comfortable and the staff particularly helpful and accommodating. The chef produced some amazing dishes which were extremely good value. I couldn't recommend the Filly Inn more highly.

We loved our stay and will definitely be back! We stayed in a room with a beautiful four-poster bed with a red canopy. The room was spacious and airy, with a nice bathroom featuring a bathtub and a stained glass window. Breakfast was wonderful. The location is great, very peaceful and just about a 15-minute walk from the historical centre and all the cafes and pubs.

Our stay at the Cathedral Lodge was a very special one, its location so close to the Cathedral is amazing. The bedroom was very suitable & we loved having breakfast in the Refectory. All staff were most accommodating.

If you were going to stay at Cathedral Gate, make sure you stay in the room labelled “Joy“ because of the view of the cathedral! It also has a private bathroom with a nice tub to soak in at the end of a long busy day! Make sure you read the fine print because some bathrooms are shared. The property is centrally located and extremely convenient to everything!
