The walk to Horseshoe Pass takes about an hour from...
The walk to Horseshoe Pass takes about an hour from Llangollen Wharf and is well worth it. There is plenty of grass area to picnic at the Pass but no benches. The life on the canal is great to watch; horse drawn boats, paddleboarders, canoes, kayaks. There is a small rustic coffee/ refreshment stop half way which is very quaint, no toilets though. Loved our walk, well worth a visit the Pass is beautiful.

Have just enjoyed a four night break at Wagtails. Owners are welcoming and helpful. Well equipped cottage with comfortable beds. Walks across the fields to the railway track. Can see the steam trains from the bedroom window.
Location is close to Llangollen, Horseshoe pass and Pontcysyllte aqueduct.

Location was stunning fantastic views and friendly sheep and pheasants all around. Ideal for Llangollen and the canal which we cycled along to the famous aquaduct. Chick castle also worth a visit along with horseshoe falls and horseshoe pass for stunning views.
