Room 12 was excellent for us, we have similar beams and little nooks in our house. The beds we really comfortable and plenty of space to move around. Tea, coffee etc topped up daily. A really nice stay.

We loved our 5 day break away in this lovely cottage & wonderful location. Lovely and spacious especially the kitchen/ living room which was massive, plenty of space for us all. The bedrooms where airy and spacious too. Spotlessly clean & everything you could want was provided for us. The added addition of the games room just across the way was brilliant where lots of pool was played. If you are a townie like ourselves and you love the countryside this is definitely the place for you. Batteries fully recharged 😁
Llangollen can be a traffic nightmare. Plas Newydd is quirky but very interesting, and the high aqueduct is something not to be missed.
The area looks very attractive for walking. Hope to visit Horseshoe Pass on a clearer day and to walk up to Castell Dinas Bran

Lovely town . Lots of great little artizan shops and cafes.
Lovely town . Lots of great little artizan shops and cafes. We visited the Chapel emporium. ( great if you love quirky antiques and memorabilia). We bought some great fresh coffee beans from Chapel Street Coffee Company. You can taste before you buy !! and enjoyed some delicious Oggie's from the Welsh Oggie shop near the bridge. Lovely view of the river from the bridge. If your into old railways and trains ,the station is worth a visit .
It's a great stop off point for other important places to visit such as Chirk Castle , and Bala . Horseshoe Pass is also highly recommended.
Its quite a compact town centre so its best to park up and walk around .Parking can be a bit tricky as spaces fill up quickly so try to arrive early ish to get a space .

Llangollen is so pretty.
Llangollen is so pretty. Beautiful walks along the river Dee, good walks along the canal. Can recommend The Corn Mill for food, or a drink, it has outside seating with amazing views along the river. The Dee Side Cafe is good for food too, however it is cash only. Lots of independent shops too, and an interesting antique shop.
Passenger Steam Railway,
Horse drawn canal boat trips.
Tranquil town setting.
Viaduct walking experience.
A drive up Horse shoe pass to nice cafe resting on top.
LLangollen a must visit part of North Wales.

Beautiful and relaxing spot in wales with lots of adventure activities to keep you entertained such as hiking, canoeing over the aqueduct and white water rafting! The corn mill pub has amazing food and views and is a must visit!
If you want to stay in a yurt (and I did), this really is a very good one to choose. I had thought that it might be a field of yurts, but on the contrary it was a single yurt in its own field north of Llangollen. You're not going to get hotel comforts (think of staying in a house with no central heating) but you'll get clean air, beautiful skies (in the right weather) and a romantic spot. I thought that the instructions for getting there and once you were in the yurt were very clear and helpful too.
Location was spot on. The apartment was comfortable and dog friendly. We had issues with hot water however that was sorted ASAP which impressed us..We had trouble with the WiFi we didn't complain as we were way to busy enjoying the fabulous walks around Llangollen. The Welsh people are so friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed everywhere we went. So many fab places to eat around the area all dog friendly. Looking forward to going back in the summer months.
Lovely authentic inn in the middle of Llangollen. Friendly staff and great wine. The oldest wine bar in Wales apparently. Also, the biggest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room.
