A host of smart shops, mainly designer brands.

A host of smart shops, mainly designer brands. I made frequent use of the restaurants in the evening: there was a wide choice. It was also pleasant to be able to look at the boats in the harbour and admire the Spinnaker Tower.

Very pleasant to stroll around the re-developed quay area.

Very pleasant to stroll around the re-developed quay area. There are lots of eating places and plenty of shops including outlet shops. Several displays of maritime objects from ships' figureheads to old mines make it interesting too. Plenty of boats to see in the harbour and Solent.

    Brilliant!

Brilliant! So much to see and do, but you need at least a couple of days to go round the attractions. Pre-book your visit. Great for all the family, baby and wheelchair accessible. Cafes pricey and mediocre. Toilet facilities are excellent.

We were delighted with the warm welcome and the size, comfort and standard of our room and bathroom. The bar is vast but with cosier zones to sit and enjoy a drink and the staff were equally lovely there. The snacks were delicious. It’s just a few minutes from the ferry terminal and a short drive into town and Gunwharf Quays. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to coming back.

Really good location, walking to distance to the seafront, Old Portsmouth and further to Gunwharf Quays. I got a room on one of the upper floors, which was great. Room was clean enough, with most facilities. Swimming pool and sauna were enjoyable, as I stayed over New Year's there were no lessons etc. on.

It had everything we could possibly have needed and was perfectly clean. It was spacious enough for the three of us and felt homely. There was a lovely little park area locally to take the dogs. We walked into Portsmouth city centre and Gunwharf Quays; a good location.

Great central location. Cheap parking deal for hotel guests in Gunwharf Quays ( much cheaper than the daily rate ). Also, offers and discounts for Gunwharf shopping and restaurants by staying in hotel - a list of participating companies is at reception. Staff great.
