The staff were very welcoming and efficient on my arrival. The bathroom was good - although the water pressure is weird - either too little or too much!

A host of smart shops, mainly designer brands.
A host of smart shops, mainly designer brands. I made frequent use of the restaurants in the evening: there was a wide choice. It was also pleasant to be able to look at the boats in the harbour and admire the Spinnaker Tower.

Very pleasant to stroll around the re-developed quay area.
Very pleasant to stroll around the re-developed quay area. There are lots of eating places and plenty of shops including outlet shops. Several displays of maritime objects from ships' figureheads to old mines make it interesting too. Plenty of boats to see in the harbour and Solent.

Brilliant!
Brilliant! So much to see and do, but you need at least a couple of days to go round the attractions. Pre-book your visit. Great for all the family, baby and wheelchair accessible. Cafes pricey and mediocre. Toilet facilities are excellent.

The location is ideal as it's only a ten minute walk in either direction for Portsmouth city centre, Southsea, old Portsmouth or gunwharf quays. staff were lovely and the place was clean and nicely decorated throughout. Good value for money in that area. Parking is available across the road on a meter for £13 for 24hrs.
Lovely hotel, great breakfast and a perfect location for exploring Portsmouth. We used our free bus pass to get about. Explored Gunwharf quays. We will go back the hotel had thought of everything we wanted. Room was lovely.
The location is excellent, in the heart of Gunwharf Quays. The car parking was excellent as well, as were the staff, who were friendly, very efficient and most welcoming. A credit to the hotel..
Very close to gunwharf quays and Wightlink ferry terminal. The room was clean and spacious, and the shower was large (added bonus). The reception staff were friendly.
The property has everything. AAA. The kitchen was huge and everything was provided. The heating was working very well as we have elderly guests. Local supermarkets (Tesco, ASDA, Aldi and Lidl) is just a very short drive away. Very close to Gunwharf Quays. The host was very accommodating and friendly and the response time was very quick. Will recommend this property to families and friends and would definitely come again to rent this property again.
What an amazing location, great to stay in a modern day iconic building, in the middle of Gunwharf Quays.
Easy to pop to the shops or visit an attraction then recuperate before going out again. Everything close buy.
Don't miss the older part with Cathedral Church of St Thomas of Canterbury and Spice Island close by, and a fantastic fresh fish shop in Gunwharf Road.
The Maritime is well located in Portsmouth and gives easy walking distance to the Gunwharf quays and their shopping and dining facilities
The hotel has been well refurbished and the staffing were all very helpful
