The Guildhall is a hidden gem is a working building as it is still used by the council. It is free to visit and a fantastic experience. Most of the stained glass windows in this building were damaged or destroyed by bombs during the troubles. They have all been lovingly restored or replaced and not to be missed.
Everything, location was perfect for the Free Derby and Peacemakers museum. Set in the heart of the Boglands and perfect for the Private Walking Tour I did. Also near and within walking distance to many restaurants, nearby bars and the Guildhall.
Room was absolutely spotless, very comfy and the staff were so very friendly and extremely accommodating.
Breakfast is self serve so you can have as much or as little as you would like. I totally recommend staying here!
Room overlooking the river an view over Guildhall clock, exceeded expectation.
Ability to extend checkout was much appreciated, even though charged for.
Enjoyed 2 meals in the bar Coppins. Helpful staff at all places.
We liked the location, easy accessible to station and city attractions.
Room didnt have a nice view, it looked out on to the roof top with a large fan outside the window, i asked if any other rooms were available and was moved to a room with a great view of the guildhall & peace bridge on the 4th floor
The location was perfect, so handy to everything. Lovely view of river and Guildhall. We were able to park in the underground car park. The concierge was so helpful and accommodating.
Central location inside the city walls surrounded by good places to eat and drink, abundance of shops (both chains and independent) and incredible places of interest. Peace bridge, Guildhall, the Walls, the museum and Free Derry corner are all mere minutes away.
