Check whats on before arriving. However, the flower arranging exhibition and stalls as well as the singing was well worth a visit despite the costs. My wife attended workshops at no extra cost which she loved whilst I enjoyed the music.

A beautiful cathedral, and one of the only things Gloucester has going for it apparently. It's free to enter, which is always a bonus, and the cloisters are beautiful to sit in on a warm day. Interesting architecture and stained glass. Lovely!

I have stayed at the hotel on several occasions, and it has always been ideal for my purposes.
The hotel is centrally located, with the added benefit of a14.00 check-in as standard.
Gloucester Cathedral and The Guildhall cinema and concert venue are both located within a few minutes walk.
Excellent location! Very vibrant neighbourhood and very close to the Aldi, and Gloucester Cathedral is less than a 10 minute walk. There's a local shop in the next building if you don't need a supermarket but just want to get the essentials. The location definitely exceeded my expectations!
Short walk to Gloucester cathedral, a bit longer for the docks and quays. Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Also more than happy to provide many recommendations on places to eat, and things to do in and around Gloucester. Staff were also very flexible with us checking out and leaving our car in the carpark so we could do a Cathedral tour. Very cool!
The location is good, next door to the Gloucester Cathedral and 5 to 10 mins drive from local amenities. The free overnight parking is a big bonus. Hassle free check-in and the host has provided all basic necessity.
