Lace Market Hotel, hotel in Nottingham

This stylish Georgian townhouse is located in Nottingham’s trendy Lace Market district.

The location is good for Motorpoint Arena, which is why we booked this hotel. The shower worked well & the bed was comfortable. The decor was good but showing some wear & tear in particular in the en-suite.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable, although very cold when first going in (given the weather, would've thought they'd have put the radiator on prior to guest arrival).

This was a very interesting museum with a few many levels to explore. We especially enjoyed the area which focuses on the history and experiences of the convicts who were sent to Australia (being Australian ourselves). Tip: If you do the Caves Tour your ticket will give you a discount to the Galleries of Justice museum.

This was an interesting experience and filled a few hours on a wet day. It's informative and great for the whole family, some good interactive events like sitting in a court room with actors and members of the public playing out a prisoner being tried and convicted.
