The Woodside is a family-run hotel. The staff were great, very friendly. We had dinner there and felt that the menu had a good variety. We both loved our food. We sat in the cozy lounge afterward and got a good recommendation for whisky from the barman. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, including lovely snacks and water. Breakfast was great. They had some of the best sausages we had in Scotland. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wished we had booked another night.

Our suite was wonderful! The bed was comfortable; the room was very inviting & the bathroom superb. We had a view of Stirling Castle that made it even more appealing. The special basket breakfast was an added surprise. We enjoyed our dinner & cocktails the night before our departure. Such an added bonus to have a restaurant on the premises.

Excellent location base for visiting Stirling and easy to find. Accommodation was part of the pub but in a separate building which worked well. Plenty of parking. Good food in the pub.
