The room was amazing, Sarah was fabulous as our host. We decided to also have breakfast, which was an excellent idea, fresh, filling and how can you not be impressed with home made bread - perfect end to a lovely stay.

This was our second visit, which speaks for itself. The cottage is ingeniously and tastefully set out with a mix of memorabilia and modern facilities. It was nice to leave the car parked outside for the whole stay and go walking in various directions, such as Cooden Beach, the coastal path all the way to St Leonard's, and footpaths and lanes up to Hooe for lunch at the Red Lion. On a rainy day, we used our bus passes on the route that runs all the way to Eastbourne in one direction and Hastings in the other.

So glad we booked the Relais Cooden Beach, we had a lovely stay and wished we were staying longer. The interiors have been tastefully refurbished, the staff were extremely helpful and the room very comfortable. We were a little confused and thought that the hotel was actually in Bexhill (which it isn’t) but there is a frequent train to Bexhill right next to the hotel and the hotel kindly arranged taxis for us for the evening. Thanks for having us!

Fantastic stay in this very comfortable and clean cottage. Great location for a play and stay at Cooden Beach golf club. Loved sitting in the garden enjoying a drink after golf. So much nicer than being cooped up in a hotel room.

We absolutely loved The Cooden Beach. The weather outside was frightful, but the fire inside delightful. It was warm, cozy and very welcoming. The staff were so lovely and helpful. We mostly ate inside the hotel having visited family in the area during the day. The food was delicious. Everything we had was exceptional. The staff couldn't do enough. It was lovely talking to Ben S. Andre was fabulous at dinner. Robert at breakfast. And the Reception and Housekeeping team super. Thank you to all of them for making our stay perfect.

Quiet location, road not busy. Easy access to Cooden Beach, Little Common village and Bexhill. Walking distance to Little Common where enough shops to buy basics, Has a Tesco Express, bakery, dellicatesan and a good Indian restaurant. Property was a clever design for a limited space with all amenities and very comfortable. Car parking available in front of property which was very convenient.
