From the moment we arrived till we left all the staff made us very welcome and very accommodating. Excellent service from Davie (concierge) he is a real character and a great asset to the team.
We had a treatment in the spa, and therapists were so welcoming and helpful, and the treatments we had were of a very high standard.
Excellent food and service in the dining area and bar.
We needed to get away and chill, relax & and unwind, and it ticked all the boxes.

Thev staff were super friendly and we specially enjoyed our chat with one of the barmaid/waitresses at breakfast. (Unfortunately we disn't get her name, but she has a dog called Ares and a budgie called Titan!)

The Fortingall Hotel, is a quaint hotel looking onto the beautiful surroundings of the Tay Forrest and only a short distance from the loch itself. We had the privilege of staying one night, in one of the family suites. We were attending a wedding near by, so unfortunately did not manage to experience the hotel to it’s entirety, however the room was very spacious and comfortable for what we needed. The breakfast was delicious and staff were very pleasant and helpful with our needs, including accommodating an early check in.

Self catering, was perfect for our family gathering
Good location, just out of Aberfeldy, but walking distance. Walks alongside River Tay. Pleasant walk to Castle Menzies - but unfortunately no dogs allowed in castle - nearby woods very pleasant but quite steep. Aberfeldy Birks is a good walking work-out.
