The hotel itself has a beautiful facade and the wee garden is nice.
Breakfast was good.
And the Pizza shop down the road, Big Boys Pizza, was amazing.
I cant speak for the Spa and Pool as we were there for only one night and this was a stop over.

If you were going to stay at Cathedral Gate, make sure you stay in the room labelled “Joy“ because of the view of the cathedral! It also has a private bathroom with a nice tub to soak in at the end of a long busy day! Make sure you read the fine print because some bathrooms are shared.
