The hotel was well situated for us to walk to the cruise terminal. It was also a short walk into town and to see the historical areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was beautiful, well decorated, spotless clean, pristine linen, water, tea, coffee even beer left as complimentary.
We were told there would be no breakfast due to a kitchen refurbishment, but Bridget came up to the room to let us know that was only for hot food. When we went to the dinning room the staff had laid out an exceptional buffet. Nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again if in area. Well done all.

Amazing hotel, very quirky and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and room was lovely and warm on a cold and windy day. Amazing cooked breakfast too.

A beautifully appointed little cottage - perfect for a couple. Very pleasant and kind hosts. Great location, just over the road from a large and interesting lake with plenty of wildlife. Just a few minutes from Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard, Exbury Gardens and Brockenhurst. Very comfortable and has a lovely attached conservatory which is a sun trap. Hosts had supplied milk, eggs and bread, as well as tea and coffee. Good little farm shop only a few hundred yards away with butcher and all other vital supplies. Secure location with gated access.
The staff were exceptional, all of them. The location was great, walked to Bucklers hard from hotel. Grounds were so well kept and a lovely area to sit out. The room was warm and bed was comfy. It had a lovely ambience about the whole place.
Lovely stay at the Stable Yard, we loved waking up each morning to see the Horses in the yard.
Breakfast pack was great and had everything you needed. Nice toiletries provided in the bathroom to use. 10 minutes drive from places like Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu Motor Museum.

Very welcoming hosts who were lovely to chat to and who made us feel very relaxed in their lovely cottage. A beautiful garden, and a big room with tea making facilities and a fridge. Very reasonable price. Great location! A fantastic cafe just across the road for breakfast and a very easy base to explore Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard and the New Forest. We are looking forward to staying here again on our next visit.
Everything. The location is amazing. The staff, particularly Nicky on reception, were wonderful, smiling all the time, very efficient and going above expectations. The dining room for breakfast and dinner was beautiful, looking out over the river. Food was delicious. My room was very nice and very clean. The Bucklers Hard museum, al though not part of the hotel, was unmissable. Beautiful hotel altogether
The cottage is charming and is located right on the high street making the location ideal for several walks from Beaulieu including to Bucklers Hard. Ed and Beg are lovely and we had lovely evenings chatting to them and sharing stories in the gorgeous garden.
Beautiful little country cottage in a perfect, quiet location with walking routes on the door step. Close to Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu - the prettiest part of that forest. The cottage has everything you could possibly want and we will definitely be back!
