Gorgeous cottage, like our place hundreds of years old! So much character and very quirky. The hosts are an absolute delight and so welcoming. Gave us a lift to our function and helped start our car that subsequently needed a new battery. Thank you so much! Shops, general stores, antiques, a pub and also wonderful café and tea rooms. Perfect country spot.

Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour, hotel in Beaulieu

With a stunning glass atrium and impressive spa, Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton Grand Harbour is situated on Southampton Waterfront.

We stay in a king size with balcony, room is spacious, clean and airy. Very comfortable bed and peaceful 1 night sleep. Breakfast was good slightly que with 1 coffee machine even if you need just hot water for tea you still need to join que. We only use the Facilities in the evening, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna& steam room. Overall everything working as it should be. Sauna& steam room is small. Hotel needs updating, and refreshing with some wear & tear holes& fresh paint.... some roof leaked stained, the stairways down to the pool all the rusty stained. Hence 4 star given. But Overall worth a price. Location is great we paid £7 for 24hrs car park next to the hotel. It's easy to walk everywhere. If we ever return to southampton, would definitely stay again.

Beaulieu Hotel, hotel in Beaulieu

This former coaching inn is set in the heart of the New Forest and has wonderful views of wild heathland.

It was wonderful. I last stayed there about 25 years ago. The location is excellent but the best thing of all is the staff service is fantastic. In many places you have to wait for ages for someone to notice you. Here, the breakfast service in particular was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The room was wonderfully comfortable.

room2 Southampton Hometel, hotel in Beaulieu

Featuring a fitness centre and a shared lounge, room2 Southampton is situated in Southampton, 1.2 km from Southampton Guildhall and 1.4 km from The Mayflower Theatre.

Beautifully furnished and decorated room and kitchenette. Helpful staff. If you want hotel parking don't leave it to last minute as it gets booked up fast being such a nice location for shops, restaurants, cruise and ferry terminals. Breakfast was a quality full English with perfectly pooched eggs. Lovely relaxed ambience with nice view of the park. Would definitely recommend and stop again.

Beaulieu village is a wonderful, characterful little place with very friendly residents. It is perfectly placed for exploring the New Forest and 2 mins drive away from the Palace of Beaulieu . I fell in love with the place. There are some lovely little shops and cafes but I would definitely recommend The Beaulieu Bakery for lunch - delicious food and friendly, cheerful staff.

The place was spot on for us, walks peaceful setting river view easy to visit the sea & also to see lots of New Forest ponies. A few cafes, plenty of eateries around the area of Beaulieu too yum! The Pig in the Forest near by for excellent food if you want to really treat yourselves. Plenty of pubs for refreshments too in the New Forest. Beaulieu itself has a Palace to visit but only a small hamlet in itself.

It is a charming area with lots of interesting places to visit to suit varied tastes. The village had shops which sold locally grown produce and seemed environmentally aware also had a friendly atmosphere. Beulieu is very near Exbury Gardens which are fantastic generally but particularly for the Azaleas and Rhododendrons in April and May.

It was actually East Boldre we stayed but it was really in Beaulieu. It is well placed to reach anywhere. Many places of interest on the doorstep. We went 20th June and there were loads of foals and young donkeys who were so cute. I love the fact that animals have the right of way - and humans have to wait for them to move. We visited Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst, Ringwood, Beaulieu car museum and Bucklers Hard and they were all worth a visit. Many picturesque villages in the New Forest.

The approach to Beaulieu through the New Forest is magical in its own right. The Village is quintessentially British and very charming. One could spend hours meandering along the streets windowshopping. For lovers of old cars you will be in seventh heaven.

The property and location are both very pleasant. Pear Tree Cabin is located beside a private house with secure gates in Fursey Lane in the middle of the New Forest. One definitely feels squarely in the ancient territory of some very entertaining four-footed friends. The colour scheme, beds, fittings, bathroom and bedlinen are all excellent quality. It feels like a hotel suite. The host kindly provided us in advance with milk, butter and eggs.

Stunning property, perfect size for a couple for a few nights away. Loved the provided cooking facilities, making it easy to enjoy meals at the property. Felicity’s communication was fantastic from booking to meeting us at check in. The property was spotlessly clean, very cosy with a comfy bed. 5 minutes down the road from Beaulieu museum, will definitely look to stay here again on future trips to the new forest.

Beautiful hotel in a great location with fantastic restaurant and breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed our stay and the stunning setting within the New Forest NP and the hotel right next to the river makes it a perfect place. Really calm and perfect to relax in style. Also, very lovely and stylish rooms, generously equipped.

The cottage was in a lovely location for the New Forest and Beaulieu, which is why we were there. It had all the facilities one would want and the owner was a lovely lady who couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting this area.

The hotel's location is excellent on the edge of Beaulieu. There was plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel, but was a long walk with a suitcase to reception. The building is old and interesting. The breakfast very nice.
