Although the breakfast was cooked properly it was only a cooked breakfast afterall and so I felt it was expensive for that.

Breakfast was delicious with a good amount of choice and a very relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel restaurant and bar were lovely. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant and bar/ lounge area was both relaxed and formal so it’s great for any occasion.
Above all, the staff, from housekeeping, to front of house and the restaurant and bar staff were wonderful. They were so friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. The room was so comfortable with a beautiful aspect from the windows and the bathroom was enormous. Housekeeping were very discreet. Our room was serviced every day as if by magic and they came to turn down the room ready for when we returned from the restaurant and bar in the evening.
The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to the whole of Bath by foot. I was so sad to leave. I will definitely be booking again!

The location is great. Opposite the railway station and close to shops, pubs, restaurants, and numerous historical Bath landmarks.
It's not a modern hotel, and it's fair to say that many things here take you back to how a traditional hotel operates. We loved it.
Food standards, quality, and choices are excellent, and the staff are lovely.

Great lovely getaway for a Saturday night in the city
The attention to detail – the owner has clearly put a lot of work into making the accommodation both comfortable and stylish, and we absolutely loved the decor of our room, but also the whole inn. It was stylish but also warm and welcoming. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was superb, especially the sea bass I ate on one of our nights. The location was great, and we really enjoyed our visit to Alexandra Park, which is close by and was recommended to us on arrival.
