Rooms were clean and in good condition. Turns out that the hotel restaurant would probably have been the best place to eat, as many other places in Granville were closed (on a Thursday evening in late June!). When we eventually headed back to the hotel, not impressed with the town, the hotel bar was very nice and served an excellent glass of rose.

Small room and bathroom but both spotless. Sheets and towels very clean and fresh smelling. Hotel very good for overnight or more stopover on journey, kettle in room very welcome. Staff were excellent and very helpful especially evening receptionist.
