Charming, spotlessly clean hotel, extremely close to the train station. A 5-minute walk to the centre, but so convenient for the train station - just across the road. Lovely staff and fabulous breakfast. I have to eat gluten free and they were able to provide gluten free bread without any difficulty. We visited Granville by chance, but found it enchanting, so we plan to return. When we do, we will be happy to stay in Au Bout Du Quai again.
Situated in the centre of Granville, Brit Hotel Essentiel de Granville is surrounded by gardens, just 1.5 km from the beach and 400 metres from Granville Train Station.

Very warm welcome on arrival - plenty of information offered etc. Superbly clean and well organised place. Room was compact but OK for 2 and it was the last of their 'base' rooms but for the one night all worked perfectly. Their restaurant, The 110 was great; relaxed informal but delicious seafood / fish options, nice selection of wine too !
Same restaurant for breakfast - Very good, plentiful and nice coffee.
Hotel is really well placed for the Dior House, Museum and Gardens.
This ibis hotel has views of Granville’s marina and is located 100 metres from the ferry terminal providing access to the Anglo-Norman Isles of Jersey, Guernsey and Serck.

Lots of space in the car park. LIked the room layout with the sink and its lighting in the room rather than the bathroom. Breakfast was good value; lots of choice and we always found a table despite small size of the dining space.
Built in 1881, this traditional hotel is in the seaside resort of Granville, just 20 metres from the beach. It offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi access and Canal+ channels.

Very nice apartment, very well planned layout, lovely furnishings and very well equipped. Private and secure parking in a respectable neighbourhood. Very good communication with host - entry/leave procedures efficient.
Appartement d'une chambre avec vue sur la mer et wifi a Granville is set in Granville, 600 metres from Herel Beach, 1.3 km from Hacqueville Beach, as well as 500 metres from Granville's Marina.
Granville is a lovely town, with lots to see. The old town near the Pont de Roc is a must see as it is very historical. The WW2 bunkers & gun emplacements are so interesting.
A walk around the port give a good view of the town from the marina, which is lovely.
The views & the beaches are stunning, in both directions, & there are lots of walking paths to follow.

Granville is a village that is alive.
Granville is a village that is alive. No tourist city like Saint Malo or Etretat.
People live and work there - this gives the chance to experience the real Normandy. You can find exeptional food, and throughout friendly people.

I have visited Granville on many occasions over the last few decades.
There is quiet a lot to do/see.There is the Christian Dior museum to visit.
On this occasion I did not eat in any establishment,as I was taking part in the twinning games & we were catered for by the organisers.
Everything is virtually within walking distance. There is a bus service.

Great atmosphere with lots going on.
Great atmosphere with lots going on.
Should have had covered seating!! it was over 30, and very hot in the Sun.
Unfortunately we got to the Budget Ibis out of town at gone 12 midnight,
hot and sweaty after a full day in over 30 degrees, only to find in our room the rubbish bin full, used mugs on the sink and NO TOWELS.
The next morning there were no Busses to town!! and the receptionist could not find a Taxi to take us to town?

Granville lived up to its reputation as ‘the Monaco of the North’. Underrated in my view. Really pretty, plenty of shops, restaurants, history and stunning sea views and walks. Was a great location to visit Mont St Michel from too and easy to get to and from the Cherbourg ferryport.

The port is lovely, and unfortunately we didn't spend more than a night there but they have good restaurants in the port area with stunning views. We chose to stay there on the way between the Honfleur/Corseulles-sur-Mer and le Mont Saint-Michel, but could easily have taken an extra day there.
Good spacious 3rd floor location in centre of Granville. Hostess, Francois was very helpful especially getting our bags up the very steep stairs. She also took us to the station on the day we left which was greatly appreciated.
Room was very good with an excellent view of the harbour
Close to the town and facilities
Parking was easy but may be more difficult during the season.
