Hotel Muguet is a beautiful hotel in a very central location in Paris. The decor is beautiful, staff friendly, helpful and knew you by name by the end of our stay. The room was compact and bijou, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed for your stay. The beds were very comfortable - had three great night's sleep, and the shower was amazing. The room was cleaned and our beds made daily.
Location wise, we were a stone's throw from Eiffel Tower, and public transport was around the corner. plenty of restaurant/bars a short walk away.
We would definitely come to stay to lovely Hotel Muguet if we came to Paris again.
Merci beaucoup!

Eiffel Tower
It doesn’t get much more romantic than gazing out across the city of love with your favourite person in the world. Maybe that’s the reason why hundreds of people drop down on one knee at the top of the tower each year. The dizzying heights and stunning views alone are enough to give anyone butterflies, but a meal at the magical ‘Le Jules Verne’ restaurant might just seal the deal.

We had dinner at the top of the Eiffel Tower at Le Jules Verne restaurant, a 2 Michelin Star restaurant. It was absolutely wonderful, the food was amazing. We were there 2 nights before the opening of the Olympic Games and our table overlooked where they conducted the opening ceremony and the Seine River where the boats to carry the athletes were practicing.
Wonderful night and fantastic experience, expensive but worth it. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I visited the Eiffel Tower on Sat 10th of August. We paid for both of us to go to the top of the tower.
We climbed 2 flights of stairs when my husband said he felt anxious and didn't feel comfortable about going to that height. I continued and he returned. He went back to the lady at the ticket office and explained his anxiety and requested if a refund would be possible. Under no circumstances was he going to get a refund. This disappointed us.The request was made under 5 minutes of purchase!

Visit near to sunset.
Visit near to sunset. You can take a lift all the way to the top or you can take the stairs to the second level and then a lift all the way to the top (a little cheaper). We did the second option. We stopped at the first level to rest, eat, use the restrooms and just enjoy the overall ambience, the vibe and the music. We met and chatted with other tourists. Then we climbed the stairs to the second floor to take the lift. Bring a sweater! The top can get quite windy and cool. The view is perfect and at sunset the tower lights up and began to sparkle. Beautiful!

We booked our tickets the day before for the second floor in peak time. We were there 20 minutes before and the line was long but it was OK we still got through after our booked time. Have 1 euro or 2 euros for the binoculars.

The Eiffel Tower is always very impressive.
The Eiffel Tower is always very impressive. I was surprise that the Friday the 14th of June 2024, it closed at 22:45 ! The toilettes closed at 23:00 and so did the RER A to our hotel. The metro did last longer.

For first-time travelers to Paris, climbing the Eiffel Tower is an absolute must. To make the experience even more memorable, I highly recommend taking a guided tour. Not only will you get to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city, but you'll also gain fascinating insights into the history and engineering marvel behind this iconic structure.
This apartment is a gem! Walkable distance from the Eiffel tower! Wonderful neighbourhood and two stations, with one of them, literally in front of the apartment building! The host was very organised and sent us all the info we could need! For a parisian place, very spacious! Loved the view from the French windows, warm, cosy and modern space!
Comfortable modern room with a matching clean modern bathroom. It had a very unique character throughout the hotel. Staff were welcoming and very polite. Location wasn’t too bad. It’s 45minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. 15minutes to the galerie lafayette and opera Paris. 15minutes to the train station (Gare du Nord). However the lookout at Sacre-Coeur is only 15 minutes walking distance which as the best views in the city which was breathtaking.
The apartment was close to the metro station and within walking distance from the Eiffel Tower (Place Trocadero). Very clean, fully equipped and cosy. Even if it was tiny, which is obvious from the description, it was more than perfect for two friends visiting Paris for a weekend. The host was also very responsive and helped us with any question we had in a short time.
Location was good, next to the Paris Expo. There were good restaurants close by - Bistro and Asian restaurants. There was a pub right below the hotel. Walking to Eiffel Tower was a 25–30-minute walk. The room was small but comfortable.
We had such a great stay at Le Parisis! The rooms were lovely and super clean, with a really comfy bed and an amazing shower. We were lucky enough to have a great view of the Eiffel Tower, which was such a treat. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. The location was perfect too—close to the metro and surrounded by great cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. I’d definitely recommend this hotel, and we will absolutely be back again. Thanks for having us!
We loved our stay in this apartment. It was well appointed and authentically Parisian. There was enough hot water for 5 of us to have hot showers each day. Such a great location with easy access to transport (Metro, RER), Arc de Triomphe, Trocodero, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees etc.
I love the location of the hotel in the Latin Quarter - it was walking distance to the Louvre , Notre Dame so a great spot for someone just wanting to walk locally. My room was pleasant not huge but its Paris. I had a balcony room which would be amazing in summer as it has a view of the Eiffel Tower which was a highlight of my stay.
Friendly staff including the cleaners who were always smiling . Lots of restaurants , cafes and supermarkets close by.
Overall location 10/10 . Recommend for anyone who wants original French experience.
First Hotel Paris is located a 20 - 25 minute walk from major sights like the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, Hotel des Invalides etc. and was a cheaper option for us when compared with the general expense of other hotels in Paris. The room was quite comfortable with a big bed and the room was an acceptable size, given the building's age.
Beautiful hotel, amazing design and wonderful and helpful staff. The junior suite had the most amazing view of a Parisian garden, beautiful buildings and the Eiffel Tower!
The location was perfect, when you get out of hotel you have the metro 1 minute away. You are 15 minutes away from Eiffel Tower by foot but you are away from other attractions. Don’t worry you can use metro to go anywhere in Paris with a cost of 2.5€ one ticket that you can buy on machines near metro station.
The bathroom was small but the shower in the bathroom was good.
Also a good point is that they cleaned the room every day.

What guests said about Eiffel Tower:
if one goes to the Louvre you acquire headsets.
if one goes to the Louvre you acquire headsets. It is pretty amazing viewing a painting of Napoleon crowning Josephine and the historical significance of this amazing piece of art is explained in the most beautiful artistic voice. Captivating... , not just this one painting the whole museum of priceless treasures. I felt honoured to view this amazing collection. The artifacts are breathtaking. It is amazing riding a double decker bus and wearing a headset. Two trips around the city and you are most familiar with the sights and their historical significance to start your journey. Plaques in doorways and on statue's leave the visitor a good over view of the past. A trip to Versailles again headsets that advise the visitors the past. The streets, the cobblestones the architecture, the open markets and cafe's, the preservation of the past intact is so very amazing to a first time visitor. Paris is exciting! Paris is busy. Paris is steeped in culture and is bigger than life itself. I stood beneath the Eiffel Tower and looked up trying to imagine the past and the men that built this magnificent structure. The residents of Paris make their city come to life. They are proud of their city. Very clean and orderly.

Skip the Louvre & the Champs-Elysees, stroll the Tuilleries and the Latin Quarter instead, & talk to people, but remember you're in THEIR country so learn some basic French (please, thank you, G'day, G'eve, etc.) - you'll find a lot of people who speak English. Use the Metro and the "river taxi" (that's what I call it, anyway). DO enjoy cafe au lait often at outdoor cafes, look at around and up at the old buildings, take your time and soak it all in. Don't waste money on 4 & 5, or even 3 - star hotels & "fancy" restaurants - see where the most French are eating and try those places. But, I'm biased and fluent in the language. One can "do" Paris in 3 days - Musee d'Orsay, Musee Marmottan (Monets!!!), Sacre Coeur, Eiffel Tower & Notre Dame, and if you must, the Arc de Triomphe, but it's not worth the hassle). Skip Versailles, go to Fountainbleau (you can get a R/T ticket at the Metro station (subway, train, bus). Hotel in the Latin Quarter.

Find all the hidden playgrounds, visit the jardin du luxembourg and budget for carousel rides. A good view of the city can be found at the top of the wheel/roue within the jardin des tuileries rather than queuing for the tour Eiffel or scycraper.
