This is my second time at Liabeny. The location is the best. Everything is walking distance. The facilities are beautiful and the rooms has everything you need. Very comfortable. Mini bar is a must. Room service excellent. Personnel are the best, very kind and respectful. They are very open minded. Is incredible what you get for the price. I can’t imagine going to another hotel next time I’ll be in Madrid.

From the moment we arrived by taxi, the service at the hotel was nothing short of impeccable. A bellman (Jorge) was there to open the car door, take our bags, and warmly escort us into the hotel, making us feel instantly welcomed. The check-in agent (Maribel) was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we were placed in a quiet, interior room as requested. While we waited to check in, we were offered refreshing water or coffee.
The hotel itself is a magnificent palace, exuding centuries of history and charm. It was impossible not to feel like royalty throughout our stay. Our room was absolutely stunning—beautifully decorated, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. We also opted for the breakfast buffet at the on-site Coroa Royal Gallery & Garden, and it was well worth it. The food was delicious and made to order, a perfect start to our day.
The hotel’s location was ideal, just a short walk from the Royal Palace of Madrid and other notable attractions. We also discovered an amazing restaurant called La Mi Venta, only a 6-7 minute walk away, where we enjoyed superb food and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Plaza Mayor
The Spanish Inquisition left Plaza Mayor with a bloody history. Once a centre for executions and bullfights, today it’s chic and cosmopolitan. The 400-year-old equestrian statue of King Philip III watches over the restaurants, artisan shops and street artists that occupy the square. Explore the side streets and you'll find speciality calamari sandwich shops.

All roads lead to Plaza Mayor.
All roads lead to Plaza Mayor. Enjoy the ambience, wander around, take plenty of photos but do not buy anything. Over priced tourist tat. Do not be tempted to wander into any cafe, bar or restaurant - over priced and not the real Spain. Make an effort to go where the locals go and you'll see the difference.
Great place, let the free tour guide tell you all about it.

Magnificent Plaza.
Magnificent Plaza. Just go get a cup of coffee and people watch for 2 hours. That's why I would do again and again. Great Architecture, great atmosphere, just a great place to watch the world go by.

It is an astonishing amazing square. The best, seat outside to enjoy the food, the view and the vibrant place.
Es alucinante. Lo mejor es sentarse fuera en las terrazas para disfrutar de la vista de esta bella plaza, la gente pasar y sentir lo vibrante que es este lugar.

It is superbly located in the heart of Madrid in the middle of Gran Vía. Theaters are next door to the building and Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Atocha, Lavapiés, Chueca, among other sites are all nearby. The apartment is spacious with a perfectly sized bathroom and bedroom, a living room and full kitchen. I was able to cook when necessary, have breakfast, and keep food in the fridge for when I needed a quick snack.
Great location to the Plaza Mayor and a short walk to the park El Retiro. Great amount of shops and restaurants surrounding the hotel to choose from. The staff were accommodating and an issue in the hotel room was apologized for.
Breakfast was excellent: many choices, only 12 euros per person..
Beds were very comfortable!!
Easily accessible by bus: it stops right infront of the Hotel and takes you directly to the city center at Plaza Mayor.
This was an amazing apartment. It was very close to Plaza Mayor and an abundance of restaurants. The apartment was well furnished with the ability to prepare food if needed. There was a coffee maker, hot water pot, microwave, stovetop, and toaster. There were dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful. This was an exceptional value.
Everything about this hotel was perfect! Incredibly quiet. Beautifully decorated and clean. The staff were really helpful - a particular thank you to Sebastian in the bar! The location was perfect as well - about 10 minutes to Retiro Park in one direction, 10 minutes to Plaza Mayor in the other. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, bed and en-suite were great. The hotel was very close to Opera, the Palacio Real, Plaza Mayor, Sol, Gran Via etc. Easy walking distance to all these places and to metro stations. Lots of good shops, cafés and restaurants close by in Calle Arenal.
The area is very safe, there are small shops, restaurants and grocery stores everywhere. It was a short distance to Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Sol, and La Gran Via. I highly recommend this location and apartment.
The location, the size of the apartment, the kitchen appliances, it has a washer and dryer and not so many apartments have that in Madrid. You have a Carrefour Express on the corner for any emergencies. It has an elevator as well. Its a walking distance to Plaza Sol, to Plaza Mayor, to El Botin (oldest restaurant in the world according to Guinness World Records).
The usual buffet breakfast you get in Europe which is amazing and fresh. The location in right on Plaza Mayor which made walking easy. There is no parking but we used a parking garage and the hotel has an agreement for a discount. That's the best way to go as there are taxi and tuktuks everywhere.
A very well equipped apartment, had everything we needed. Very clean, quiet and dark at night so easy to sleep and comfortable bed. Secure building and easy walk to restaurants, metro and main sights (Prado, Plaza Mayor, Palace etc). We arrived to Madrid by train to Sol station and just an easy block walk to the apartment. Host responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here.
