The room was clean, the location was great with lots of restaurants and shops around. The breakfast buffet was very good, with pretty much everything you could want. Overall, the staff was friendly and attentive. Internet worked well. The free minibar was awesome.

We particularly loved the service and the private concierge with the red level club. Being able to return back any time of day and having refreshments and a cocktail or two immediately at our service was an extra treat. The concierge was extremely helpful in planning top notch private tours and explaining the sites of the city. We dined one night at their restaurant and had an amazing piece of fish in a Thai curry broth. The location was central to everything we wanted to see. They even sent us off in the early morning with a boxed snack! We couldn’t be happier with this pick.

In front of the window is a small park, where you can stay safe until late, listen to artists play music, look up at the stars, meet friends and chat or think about your own business. There are many cafes and bars near the hotel，but it is very clean and sanitary, no strange smell. Basically close to every where, 2 minutes walk to Opera metro station, 5 mins walk to plaza mayor, and less than 10 minutes to Sol.

My mother and I were seeing my cousin living in Madrid. We got a private room with a private bathroom and two beds in the hostel. It was a three minute walk to Puerta Del Sol and a five minute walk to Plaza Mayor. Room was clean, cozy and safe.
The location is perfect... steps from plaza mayor and mercado San Miguel... walking distance to everywhere else in Madrid. The building is quiet, and the apartment faces inside (not streetside) so the outside noise never was loud enough to bother me and I felt this was a nice and quiet retreat from busy days visiting Madrid.
Hotel is clean and bed was comfortable. It’s located right off Plaza Mayor with plenty of sidewalk cafes to eat or have a drink. Very walkable area to see the sights. The breakfast provided was also good to start your day. Staff was very helpful.
Perfect location central to everything; right outside Plaza Mayor with Mercado San Miguel right around the corner, less than 5 min walk to Plaza del Sol, about 5 mins from Callao and Gran Via. Very easily accessible via the metro. Apartment was equipped with everything you may need, including a little balcony with a beautiful view of Madrid. Area was very quiet and safe at night. Host was super attentive and always making sure we were okay!
Absolutely gorgeous and impeccably clean apartment right by Puerta del Sol, making for easy walks to Plaza Mayor and other top sites, plus the best area for public transportation choices. The host was very friendly and helpful, meeting us right when we arrived to hand over the keys and give us a tour. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Madrid.

Don't go to any of the "eat as much as you can". It was the only tourist trap we encountered. North to Plaza Mayor street you'll find very good and fancy restaurants. South to this street you will find great othentic Spanish and south American restaurants and a little bit further you'll find real othentic and very good chinese restaurants.
