And the staff was incredibly professional and always willing to try and help with any of our requests.

This hotel is located in a quality residential area of Madrid, on a very quiet street. With the windows open at night, there is complete silence. Our rooms were very clean, floor and bedlinen included, as were other areas of the building. The building is quite secure, having to pass through 3 different locked doors to access the rooms. Check-in is relatively easy but this depends entirely on your internet connection. And this can cause problems.
Apart from this, you must keep in mind that this is a very cheap way to stay in the Madrid area and we were quite happy with our choice for this reason. The cleanliness of the shared bathroom will inevitably depend on who else is staying at the hotel with you....
