Divers have flocked to Sharm El Sheikh for decades thanks to its clear waters and an abundance of sea life. Ras Ghamila is one of the highlights of diving in the Sinai Peninsula, and makes a great start for less experienced divers too. This is due in part to its great drift diving, where you can glide over bright outcroppings of table corals and wafting gorgonian sea fans. If you're lucky you might even see a turtle, but if not, the feathertail stingrays, triggerfish and groupers swimming around are equally impressive.
