We felt very comfortable at hotel Monte Carmelo. The staff are very friendly at the reception and at the breakfast. They even remember what you like and get it for you the next day without asking. The cleaning is done very nicely where they even refill soap and other stuff in the bathroom every day. The location of the hotel was great for us since we travelled to other cities. It is not in the city center but within 15 minutes of a beautiful walk crossing the bridge

Location is perfect, near pretty much everything by walking, next to a bus stop.
The hotel is lovely, welcoming and super clean. Staff is excellent, approachable, friendly and very very helpful.
The room was what we expected to be size wise, clean, accesible, functional with all the needed facilities for us.
The pool area is beautiful and clean however it was always busy for our liking but, due to the hot weather, it was sort of expected.
The bar was super convenient and not OTT expensive (amazing Aperol spritz btw).
The overall atmosphere was relaxing and they do make you feel at home.

Lovely quiet room (Junior Suite-7 nights). Excellent staff, front of house and housekeeping. Hotel is a 15-20 minute walk to the old town, located in Los Remedios, a very Spanish area with plenty of shops and local bars on the doorstep. We didn't have breakfast in hotel but went to a nice place around the corner a few times called Greta's. Triana riverside has plenty of bars and restaurants also and is worth checking out to get away from the main tourist places. Ideal hotel for a longer stay in Sevilla.
