Rebuilt and reworked many times over, the best parts of the Cathedral are the Romanesque Cloister (columns and capitals unfortunately much ruined) and in its Museum the extraordinary Tapis de la Creation, a 11th century needlework tapestry, defenitely worth seeing.

Stunning, quaint accommodation right near the Girona Cathedral. Staff were friendly, breakfast was more than we bargained for. While small, the rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Would highliy reocmmend.
Bellmirall was quaint and steeped in history. It is located in the heart of the old town, close to the medieval walls, Girona Cathedral and Arts Museum. The garden was beautiful with an abundance of plants and a water fountain. Breakfast was lovely with an extensive range of teas and preserves. The staff were welcoming, helpful and informative, and will leave a lasting memory for their warmth and kindness.
A spacious and very clean appartment with everything you need for a short or longer stay. Two steps from the Girona Cathedral and city centre!

Apart from the beautiful city, there is loads to see and do in the surrounding area. We had too little time to enjoy it all, so we have to come back :-)
It was the second time I stayed at Pensió Bellmirall. It is an attractive guest house in an old building next to Girona Cathedral. The rooms are comfortably furnished while retaining authentic details. The staff is flexible and service-oriented.
Especially enjoy breakfast. I really liked that there was an opportunity to have tea (an extensive selection) and coffee day and night in the room at the entrance.
My spotless bathroom/toilet was in the hallway. A bathrobe was provided.
The location of the property was absolutely perfect. Steps from the Girona Cathedral, with many dining options within a very short walk. The apartment was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The communal garden space (with outdoor seating) was simply stunning. Our only disappointment is that we didn’t book a longer stay, because this truly was a treat!
It is the small family type hotel. It is located in the heart of the old town of Girona. All the historical sights are near by. The hotel is very beautiful! The room we had was in authentic style with wooden carved furniture and stylish and modern bathroom. There is a small, but very beautiful terrace on the roof of the hotel with the view of the Girona cathedral. Good breakfast: not a lot choice, but enough for a good breakfast. Products were fresh and delicious. 100% recommended. With pleasure we will visit this hotel again.
Located in historic old town, the hotel interior combined nicely old medieval walls with a modern take. Sun terrace on the top with a close view Girona cathedral. 10 mins walk to main shopping streets/ restaurants. City walls were closer. Hilly and uneven pavements which we found fine but might not suit everyone.
