Really interesting and unique decor, great location walking distance from train station + metro to city center + bus to airport. I saved a lot of money on transport staying here because a taxi is not necessary, everything is easily accessible. It also has the appearance of a newer hotel so it feels clean and modern. I also thought the price was very fair and the dining areas were comfortable and had some vibe.

Beautiful decorations,good location and great breakfast
We visited in January 2025, 3 people. The location is perfect, 23 min walk to Atocha train station (mild slope all the way downhill from the hostal to the station). Easy to walk around city center from the hotel, plenty of nearby restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly, check in/out was very easy, we arrived early morning and were granted luggage storage until check out. We toured around the city and returned early evening to check in. Small but clean room, hot water.
Location is great if you use the Atocha train station, yet its immediate surrounding is quiet; walking distance to several local shops and restaurants; good setup for remote working if needed.
Breakfast was, as other reviewers have said, really wonderful. Lots of variety to choose from and a great start to the day. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was in was in easy walking distance to museums, Retiro park, the botanical garden and the Atocha train station. Comfortable bed and clean room. We liked the hotel so much, we came back again for another 4 nights before leaving Spain.
The location is good, right near Atocha train station, Retiro and Prado. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Good value for the money. No street noise very quiet street.
They have a late check out for the half night rate which was excellent.

It was very clean and central. I appreciated how clean the room was and also enjoyed the easy walk to Atocha train station when arriving to and leaving from Madird, as well as the easy walk to the metro for while I was there.
