Absolutely loved the property. The beds were quite comfortable and the grounds were amazing.
Next to the University of Burgos, Hostal Campus offers free Wi-Fi. Burgos Bus station connected to Madrid is 0.6 mi away while you can drive to Burgos Airport in 10 minutes.
Located 984 feet from Burgos Cathedral, Abba Burgos offers free use of the heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym and paddle tennis court. There is free Wi-Fi in all areas.

Pre-registered online and the only thing asked from me was a credit card. Reception staff was professional, welcoming and cordial. The room was comfortable, quiet and spacious. Likewise with the bathroom. Property was clean, modern and had a really nice curb appeal. Parking was available at the premises. There were two parking lots - one outside and one under the hotel. Parked under the hotel and thank goodness because the weather turned really hot! City center was a downhill walk from the hotel which made it an easy walk. However, it meant that going back you had an uphill hike. On a hot day, that could be a bit tiring, even arduous. Hotel had an on-site restaurant that was open 24/7. Breakfast was pretty decent but standard. Restaurant and hotel staff were professional, responsive and very helpful. Restaurant food was also pretty decent and inexpensive. Almost everyone spoke English.

Burgos is blessed with parks, notably along the river.
Burgos is blessed with parks, notably along the river. El Parral, to the west of the centre, is next to the university. It is a very peaceful park, totally flat, covered in trees including many that fill the air with their downy seeds in the summer. On a hot day it is a great place to cool down or picnic. The park is on the route of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Just to the west is the 800-year-old Hospital del Rey that has been tastefully converted to a department of the university and can be visited.
