We were pleased with almost everything, location second to none. However - the carpark, steepness of access was a nightmare due to the turn at the bottom. Once we were in, there really was no going back, impossible to have reversed back up the ski slope. I know it cannot be avoided due to location and you are at least providing secure parking but, we won't be returning with a car anytime soon.

Burgos is blessed with parks, notably along the river.
Burgos is blessed with parks, notably along the river. El Parral, to the west of the centre, is next to the university. It is a very peaceful park, totally flat, covered in trees including many that fill the air with their downy seeds in the summer. On a hot day it is a great place to cool down or picnic. The park is on the route of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Just to the west is the 800-year-old Hospital del Rey that has been tastefully converted to a department of the university and can be visited.
