Beautiful building. Hamman ancient baths. The service was really good. All the staff really lovely the design is modern and stylish but a bit too dark for my taste.

It´s clean, comfortable, the staff are very friendly and helpful. It´s right in the centre of Almería, there is secure parking and it is only a short walk to the sea. It´s surrounded by shops, bars and interesting places to visit.

The location of the hotel was brilliant. It was very central and the fact that it had parking underneath the hotel was an added bonus. Our room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay.

It's an amazing place but some of it is being excavated and I do think the authorities could have done more to explain what is taking place and what sort of information is emerging.
The views over Almeria are wonderful, worth the long climb. I also enjoyed visiting the Aljibes (cave-like cisterns) made by the Moorish builders of the castle with a view to withstanding a siege.
A visit beforehand to the museum in the main square is a very helpful scene-setter.
