The location of the hotel is very close to the hot air balloon and the Imperial Valley and Habu City, which made it convenient for us to go to the hot air balloon in the morning without having to get up too early, (we could also see some hot air balloons in the yard in the morning, just don't know how to get to the rooftop). The front desk staff is very patient and responsible, but also free to upgrade us to a garden view room, the hotel environment is very unique, surprisingly we ate the best local food in Luxor, recommended 👍

Be aware of the entry fees.
Be aware of the entry fees. Set I alone was an extra 1800LE - nearly £28 per person - the cost per person for all the tombs, including Tutankhamun was £46 each!! Set I was very good, Tut's tomb just had his remains in it. The rest is in the Egyptian Museum.

A ticket only gets you into a few tombs and which ones are open rotates. King Tut is a separate ticket. Not the most exciting tomb (since he died young there wasn't much time to make a big tomb), but his mummy is there.

The Valley of the Re is an amazing place that requires at least 3-4 hours to fully enjoy and appreciate. It's highly recommended to get a guide. The entrance fee is 600 Egyptian pounds and 300 for students, but you need to have a valid student card. While some tombs are included in the tickets, you can only choose 3 tombs to enter. Three tombs require an extra fee: Seti I, Tutankhamun, and Ramses Vand VI. We visited all three and really liked them. The Tomb of Tutankhamun is the smallest with an entrance fee of 500 Egyptian pounds for adults and 250 for students. The Tomb of Seti I is the most expensive, costing 1800 Egyptian pounds with no student discount, but it's considered great and worth the money. The entrance fee for Ramses V and VI is 180 for adults and 90 for students. There is a small train connecting the ticket office and the entrance, costing 20 Egyptian pounds, but the distance is walkable, and one can opt to walk to the entrance. Many local workers inside the tombs offer to take pictures in exchange for a tip. The toilets are not free, and they are dirty; you need to pay 10 Egyptian pounds without a receipt and 15 if you request one.

Plan before hand which tombs to see.
Plan before hand which tombs to see. Worth buying tickets for the individually priced tombs - these are much less crowded. The valley is scorchingly hot, take water, wear a hat and visit early in the morning. Take time to visit Valley of the Queens especially the tomb of Nefertari withs its wonderful decoration.

Paying the extra money to see Seti's tomb in the Valley of the Kings is definately worth it. The steps inside can appear a bit daunting, but it is not as steep as some tombs and the Tomb itself has to be seen to be believed. Make sure to look up ... the paintings on the roof are beyond spectacular.

Too many people all entering tombs all at once.
Too many people all entering tombs all at once. Chaotic, crowded, very sad as these sites are not being cared for, they are just taking the money. Advise to get there when they open. We went alone at 6.00am but after we visited with a tour, I counted 40 buses as we arrived with a line waiting to go in. Thousands of people . I think they should ban photos as the selfie people are extremely annoying. History is being abused not preserved or respected here.

A wonderful hotel, next to the Luxor Temple, you can see it from the roof when you go to dinner. Everything is close, the reception will help with excursions, in particular they offered a car with a driver for the whole day for a trip to the Valley of the Kings and the surrounding area. The food at the hotel is wonderful, you don’t have to go anywhere, I recommend it to everyone. The hotel is very decent in terms of price/quality ratio. I have never seen anything like this anywhere in Egypt. Don't regret it. Everything is ok
The whole property is super quiet, nice. The location of the hotel is just perfect, close to Valley of the kings, and just 30 minutes away from Luxor international airport. Situated in an authentic part of Egyptian countryside. The swimming pool is also great (clean, etc) and restaurant is also serving great food. The whole staff was very good too. It worth beyond 10 out of 10
This was such a beautiful hotel on the West Bank of Luxor with the most amazing staff! They arranged tours, transfers, everything we needed. It's located in a lovely residential neighborhood with a stunning roof terrace with great views of the Valley of the Kings. I absolutely recommend!
Amazing property. The most unbelievable rooftop breakfast view of the Nile and Luxor Palace. Not new but extremely clean with the most professional and helpful staff. It was our Oasis in Luxor after long days in the hot (45C) sun. We actually cancelled a hotel in Aswan to stay an extra day because it was so enjoyable. We liked staying on the West Bank closer to the Valley of the Kings.
Everything was better than expected. I had a very big apartment only for myself, with a dedicated terrace towards the Valley of the Kings and also a rooftop terrace. The amenities were good and everything was as pictured. I liked the location because it was on the quiet part of Luxor and also the cul-de-sac which made traffic inexistent.
The restaurant was excellent, both food and service. The entire hotel is beautiful and the room was exceptionally spacious. The hotel is quite far from Luxor itself but closer to the valley of the kings and queens.
The management is excellent, Ashaf is always willing to help and reply very fast. He help us to coordinate tours and Fellucas to cross to the other side.
The apartment has good space, wifi was the best we had in Egypt, the beds and pillows were comfortables and we had a big fridge.
In the corner there is a mini market and a pharmacy is just 100 mts away. Easy to cross to Luxor temple by Felluca and 15 min to Valley of the kings.
Breakfast was traditional egyptian, spreadable cheese, fried eggs, tomato, cucumber and dates.
Perfect hotel for visiting the Temples of Luxor being right in front of it
The staff is very helpful and offers pick up from and to the airport
The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Shower with hot water
Working wifi in The room
On the roof there is a swimming pool with a wonderful view of the temple, Nile and the Valley of the Kings. breakfast was excellent
The staff! Muhamed gave us so much information, booked our Valley of the Kings tour. arranged boat to East side. answered all the questions we had. There was a problem with the water heater and it was fixed right away. Ahmed & Mustafa we’re so very kind & treated us like family. we loved our stay so much we booked an extra day. The apartment was huge , comfortable and had a great view of the Nile and Luxor temple. we would definitely try again and highly recommended.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They organized our hot air balloon trip which was amazing. In addition, they booked a sightseeing tour with a private guide to the Valley of the Kings and other temples. The hotel is situated close to the railway station and the Luxor Temple. We were always offered coffee or tea throughout the day.
