I stayed 2 nights for solo trip. Clean, calm, staff was kind, good location for sightseeing. I chartered taxi through the hotel for 8 hours. The young driver couldn’t speak English but he was very kind, and I was able to visit 5 spots with peace of mind.

I visited 30 years ago, then the locals just dropped rubbish everywhere, this seems to have stopped. Leave plenty of time if you want to walk the Avenue of the Sphinx, some information boards helped you undertand what you were looking at, restoration work is ongoing, walk around the sides first and enter from the back, in a courtyard, you can see where the Romans plastered over the wall art and put there own.

Interesting but quite difficult to understand because of a lack of knowledge of Egyptyan history. Even if you have a guide it is difficult to remember what it is you have seen. There is very little effort in trying to make it an educational experience which you can remember.

Luxor temple is a must visit.
Luxor temple is a must visit. It's the biggest one and is absolutely fascinating. Even though we started quite early in the morning, there were already groups, however we still managed to get some nice photos without the crowds.
I'd recommend to visit with a tour guide to understand what are you looking at.

The Egyptian people are charming and kind but be warned they will take advantage of you regarding your money and tend to be aggressive in Luxor. As a solo traveler do not go to Luxor Temple alone at night. In order to walk the avenue you must pay an entrance fee to Luxor and Karnak. I wanted to walk from Luxor Temple to Karnak Temple by the Avenue of the Sphinx but there was an event happening at Luxor Temple and hours where shortened.
The staff of this hotel is the best. Thanks to them, my boyfriend and I had great time at the hotel and Luxor. Great hospitality and true kindness. They are always helpful and welcoming. The hotel is located at the best in the town. Walking distance to the station, all the stores, Nile river and Luxor temple. When we come back to Luxor, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Very accommodating hosts, lovely clean and big apartment (especially for the price), still very good location, 5 min from nile and luxor temples as well as the main city center, we had breakfast included which was very nice, just be aware that there is no sign outside so be prepared to call when you arrive, they are very responsive
The hotel is located close to the center and by the Nile river, where you could take the felucca boat/motor boat which is arranged by the hotel. Taxi to Luxor temple and the city center is around 10 minutes. There was a wide selection of food for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got an upgrade to room with Nile rivier view upon check-in.

Fantastic view on the Nile and the Eastern Bank from the roof terrace, which is clearly the best possible one, just opposite to Luxor Temple. It is a great location to start exploring the sights on the West Bank. Haggag, the host is really exceptional, a kind gentleman, who is touring you around at a good price and taking good care of the guests. The interior of the apartment is stylish, there is traditional and new air-conditioning as well.
Hotel is located in the East Bank. Great rooftop view overlooking the Nile River. Clean room. Really close to the boulevard and can reach Luxor Temple in 10mins by walk.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in in Egypt, cleanest and best breakfast. The best, the staff, are very friendly and help you in everything they can, they made me feel very good, everyone from the reception to the cleaning people. The hotel restaurant is very good and eating on the terrace watching Luxor temple is wonderful. If I return to luxor, I will repeat without hesitation.

It was within walking distance of the Luxor temple; they had a little shopping center with an ATM where we could exchange dollars for Egyptian pounds. The restaurant served Egyptian food, and you have to try the dessert "Kunafa." It was AMAZING! most of you stay here.
