A high quality hotel offering impeccable service with a personal touch, such as the small gift offered on checking out. My room was very comfortable, with a luxurious en-suite. The breakfast buffet was perfectly judged, with eggs cooked to order if desired. An excellent restaurant.

We were in the room to sleep. Trier has such a happily, combustible cultural history: a. Roman ruins and huge engineering feats. b. amazing churches such as the St. Paulin rococo church. c. Karl Marx house. We also found excellent restaurants and shopping. Welcoming, kind people.
